Does 68° work in offline mode?

Yes, the 68° application works perfectly well in offline mode as long as you follow the planned route. However, if you leave the route for any reason (closed road, detour, adding a new address along the way, etc.), an Internet connection will be required to recalculate the new route.

Don't worry if you're in a white zone: just follow the original route approximately until you're back on the network.

If you're planning a road trip to a European Union country, you won't have to worry about a thing, as all operators must offer equivalent connection services.

For trips outside the European Union, a temporary data package allows you to drive with complete peace of mind. You can also take advantage of this package to share your photos and your adventure with friends and family.

Can I connect the 68° motorcycle GPS to my Bluetooth helmet to receive voice instructions?

The 68° GPS application offers a choice of four types of itinerary:

quick route with freeway,
fast route without freeway,
winding route,
technical itinerary.

The technical route can take you over narrow roads and even a few carriage roads, perfect for those who enjoy a more muscular ride.

One of the great advantages of 68° is that you can change the type of route at each stage, allowing you to combine fast, winding and technical roads on the same trip. What's more, you can adjust the route in real time, for example, to switch to a fast route in case of rain. This flexibility makes 68° the ideal application for personalized motorcycle road trips.

Can I save and share itineraries with other users on 68°?

Yes, all the routes you create with the 68° application can be easily saved, shared and even exported in GPX format.

If your friends are also using 68°, you can share your routes with them in just a few clicks, and they'll have immediate access to them. Even better, if you make any changes to your route, your friends will receive the update in real time, which is ideal for riding in a group and staying in sync.

How does 68° make money with a free app?

This question comes up often, as many users are surprised to discover that the 68° application is really 100% free.

Offering a free application doesn't mean we can't generate income. We have several sources of revenue that enable us to maintain our free service for users while supporting our development. Advertising is one of them, but only when it's well integrated and non-intrusive, so as not to disrupt the user experience.

We are also developing partnerships with accommodations, restaurants and online booking platforms, which constitute another significant source of revenue. In addition, we offer an online store and accept donations from our users.
