Vacation news

During this wonderful month of August, the 68° team took some time out to relax, devoting most of their time to wearing out their tires for fun and testing the very first version of our iPhone and web application! Taking to the road is not only a great way to get away from it all, it’s also a great way to get new ideas off the ground: a tutorial here, a new concept in travel folders there, and an irresistible urge to venture beyond borders!

The Iphone version is coming !!!

Nearly 10,000 of you pre-registered to be informed of the iPhone release date, not to mention the hundreds of comments on our social networks. We repeat: the iPhone version is scheduled for September 2024. The 68° team began testing this summer and, by September 15, volunteers should be able to test the beta version. Your impatience is a source of delight for our entire team, as it testifies to the enthusiasm of the motorcycling community for our application. Many thanks to all ❤️.

the web version of the 68° motorcycle GPS app arrives

The Web version should follow!

Development of the web version is progressing slowly but surely. We had announced a release date of September 2024, and we should be on schedule (fingers crossed), as we’re still encountering a few minor technical challenges).

The Web version will offer additional convenience for preparing your trips lasting several days or weeks. However, unless you’re a 68° shareholder (about which we’ll tell you more soon), you’ll need to take out a subscription for €29.90 a year.

A few tutorials just for fun!

Ah, those GPS devices, how limited they can be! But on the other hand, you can’t ask them for the moon. A GPS only knows routes and geographic coordinates.

So, if you’re hoping he’ll understand our human desires, like “I’d like to drive around here” or “Why does he insist on taking me through the city center when I’ve spotted a great parking lot 300 m away?”, you’re liable to get frustrated.

To keep you relaxed, the 68° team has developed a unique concept: stages and waypoints. Check out our tutorials on these two features, and 99% of your worries will be solved. No more stress, just enjoy the trip!
