The GPS app designed for road trips
68° is a road trip GPS app designed for independent motorized travelers. It’s for anyone who loves traveling freely with their vehicle: motorcyclists, drivers, classic car enthusiasts, road trippers, and vanlifers.
The app lets you plan your routes, follow your navigation, and discover roadbooks, points of interest, accommodation, restaurants, and useful services directly on the road. The goal is simple: make trip planning smoother, more enjoyable, and more accessible—whether you’re heading out for a day ride, a weekend, or a long trip across Europe.
Originally designed for motorcyclists—a community that’s especially demanding about road quality, stops, and the riding experience—68° is now opening up to everyone who believes the journey is fully part of the trip. More than just a GPS, 68° supports the whole experience: inspiration, planning, the route, the ride, and the great places you find along the way.
With 68°, road trips are easier to plan, more enjoyable to follow, and richer to experience.

Two founders passionate about the road and travel
68° was born from the meeting of two experienced engineers and entrepreneurs, driven by the same passion for the road, travel, and freedom: Martin and Pascal.
Martin, 40, has been passionate about motorcycles for many years. A fan of long-distance travel, he knows that urge to go far, map out a route, and seek out great roads, good stops, and stages that give the trip meaning. His perspective as a traveling rider strongly shaped the spirit of 68°: a practical, reliable app designed for people who truly love being on the road.
Pascal, 60, is also passionate about motorcycles, but he also loves convertible drives, with the same pursuit of the pleasure of the road, opening landscapes, and detours that are often better than straight lines. This dual sensibility—between two wheels and driving for pleasure—naturally helped broaden 68°’s vision beyond the motorcycle world.
Together, Martin and Pascal imagined an app that could simplify planning for multi-stop trips, while staying true to the spirit of independence and discovery that defines road trips.

From motorcycles to road trips for everyone
The first version of the 68° app launched in 2022, with a clear ambition from the start: to simplify organizing rides and multi-stop trips, beginning with the world of motorcycling.
This first step made it possible to build an app focused on travelers’ real needs: finding great routes, identifying places to see, spotting accommodation, restaurants, and useful services—without having to juggle a multitude of different tools.
After this first development phase, the 68° company was created in 2024 to structure the project, speed up its evolution, and support a broader vision of road trips. The app, initially designed for motorcyclists, now serves all independent motorized travelers: motorcyclists, drivers, classic car enthusiasts, road trippers, and vanlifers.
This evolution is natural. Whether it’s a motorcycle trip, a convertible drive, a classic-car route, or a van road trip, the need is the same: plan your journey more easily, enjoy great roads, discover interesting places, and find the right addresses at the right time.
A participatory business model
From the company’s creation, Martin and Pascal made a strong choice: open up the share capital to those who love travel, great roads, and the idea of an app designed to make road trips freer, simpler, and more accessible.
Today, 68° has share capital of around €650,000 and brings together nearly 500 shareholders. This structure makes 68° much more than a simple app: it’s a true community project, financially solid, backed by many enthusiasts who believe in its growth.
This model is unique in the world of travel apps. 68° isn’t just designed for its users: it’s also owned by them. This closeness between the app, its creators, and its community gives the project a special strength. It makes it possible to build a tool aligned with travelers’ real expectations, while preserving an independent, sustainable vision that stays true to the spirit of road trips.
With this model, 68° stands for a simple idea: a travel app can be useful, accessible, community-driven, and supported by the people who use it.
